Not too good and they did not make the playoffs; and as I do not have any interest in professional sports, I don't follow them.
I live very close to the arena where they play (I can walk there in less than an hour); I hate driving home from work on the nights of a home game, as the traffic is terrible; add a touch of snow, a 40 minute drive home can take over 90 minutes. If they happen to be playing the Montreal Canadians while it is snowing out; it can take well over 2 hours to get home (for those that don't know; Montreal is about a 2 hour drive from Ottawa).
I hope you are wrong as that is all I am planning to take while backpacking in some fairly remote parts of India, Bhutan and Nepal for a couple of months this fall.
I've got to pack light for that trip, so a small body (Panasonic GX7) and one or possibly two lenses is all I am planning to take. A small, light tripod and perhaps a polarizer is as gear is as heavy and bulky as I am willing to go. This is driven both by space / weight and risk concerns.
If I have transport, I do too. What many people do not realize is that a heavier camera is in many ways "self-stabilizing" because of the inherent relationship mass has with inertia. A heavier camera resists being moved (a.k.a. camera shake), more than a light camera (this effect is often called Newton's second law of motion, if anyone remembers their high-school physics). I've dragged my D800 with battery grip and three pro lenses to Africa and Central America just because it is so much easier to shoot with.
On the other hand, traveling for a couple of months with a 60 litre backpack and having to pack clothing for both tropical and high altitude (cool to cold conditions) as well as for good and bad weather mean that certain trade-offs have to be made in what comes along and what does not. I do plan to do a fair bit of photography, but am restricting my gear to the bare minimum,
Manfred, I'm sure you know what is best for that trip…
But now that I know about it, i'm expecting some great shots. Am I right? (Don't you dare say no!)
