    MONOCHROME Mini Competition #9

Since the aim of these is to get you taking and submitting photos, let see if it can also encourage people to post monochrome (black and white) images, even if that's not in their normal photography 'diet' (e.g. like me)

    Here's how it works ...

    - You good folks post MONOCHROME images in the thread (please change your post title to a name for your picture)

    Monochrome #9
    - When we get 10 images we will attach a voting poll

    - After 3 days the poll closes and the winner is declared!

    - If you would especially like some critique after the competition poll closes, please make it known in the post

    Too easy eh?

Limit of 1 image per post, and 2 image posts per person.

If there are already 10 in the current comp, please start a new thread in this forums

Aaah, memories. Stood on that spot a few years ago, Larry - eating a gorgeous ice-cream.

    Donald,

Yes, the Plaza Michelangelo has wonderful views of Florence. This was a beautiful October day. A bit of rain, but my wife and I had a great walk up to the plaza, a bit of rain came and a gorgeous rainbow made an appearance.

    great memories.

    Re: Winter walking

Rules is rules, it has to be thought thinking feeling black and white, difficult but your image couldn't work any other way. A little definition would be nice, it is easy to do silhouettes but feeling in a picture is harder. I think maybe you have that but a slight perception of face would be better. Very slight.

note: your image is definitely better B+W.

Top one, Carregwen really good you know old chap, I think probably a good photographer who the hell knows. I do
