Lofoten, Norway #11: warm sunlight on the water

Both of these photos were taken from the deck of our cabin. The scenery from the cabin was amazing, as hopefully these two images convey. The second photo is probably my favorite photo of our trip and, naturally, was the least planned and most unexpected of all photos.

Hi Mike , did you crop the boat intentionally just to show the light and reflections ? Even so I would like to see some more of it. Very nice warm light on the water indeed

Binnur: I framed the first photo as is in the camera with no cropping during post-processing. I made several photos in this style because I'm getting a bit tired of seeing the traditional composition that includes more of the source of the reflection (though I made a number of images in that style also).

The 1st image is my favourite from your trip that I've seen so far. Truly exquisite! Followed by the couple in the beautiful sunlit water with the mountains in the background.
