An old one: harvest moon rising over Boston

Took this a year ago, I think, and stumbled on it while looking for something else. Since there has been some discussion about night photography, I figured I would post it. ISO 100, 3/10 second, f/8. Focal length 280mm on a crop sensor camera. This was one of my few attempts to learn to use Nik. C&C welcome as always.

In my experimentation with night photography lately, I was using a high ISO, and a long SS, so I'm not sure how that photo looks so bright, but maybe the conditions were pretty bright in the city.

Dan, excellent shot of the moon between the buildings. When harvest moon came around this way, we had a cloudy day... If you did put in your settings, I would have had to ask you if this is one or two shots...

The full moon rises opposite the setting sun. this gives you a short window during which you can catch reflections from the sunset. I took a series of this, with the moon gradually rising, moving south (left), and shrinking, while the reflections faded. They became less interesting the longer I went on.
