Daniel ^^^ beat me to the comment in my head. Anyway if you chose to correct his in PP, I think the best solution is to cut off a bit of the bottom to concentrate on the sharpness of the portion you focused on. Otherwise, perhaps re-shoot?
One thought it to crop it to 4:5 or 1:1 to get rid of the out-of-focus foreground and put the attention on to where it should be, that gorgeous root.
The other thought, but not to do with composition, would be to convert it to B & W, add in some more Local Contrast Enhancement (LCE) and sit back to admire the wonderful study of tone and texture.
