Very different from your normal style and it's understandable why. I like the mood. Are they sisters?

Another interesting capture, Rob. I can't quite decide whether I love it or merely like it. As always, nicely thought out and composed.

I find the play of light on the face of foremost girl a bit strange and can't quite figure that part out.

Thanks for your usual encouraging words, Mike. Really very much appreciated. Olivia (main subject) and Avery are very close friends. I gave a print copy of this photo to Olivia's mom and she was very happy to have it. Cheers.

Thanks, Manfred. Your mere liking this photo is more than enough. I realize this is not one of my better shots. This was a "stolen shot" as the girls were engrossed at looking at the books in the library. So it was one of those split second decision on how to compose the shot. I am content with this picture for its composition and content. I only wished I had better performance on my Canon 5d (the original version) camera as it was shot in low light and high ISO. There was some degradation on the main subject's face. Yea, and the lighting is a bit challenged.

Lovely capture, Rob. I think you need to fix the blur a little though. I can almost draw a line where it's blurry and where it's sharp. See below.

Thanks for noticing and pointing that out, Daniel. Yes, I will fix it.

You have very keen eyes. I remember you saw that in one of my images (old man eating cream). Remember?

    Thanks again. Cheers.

Yes, I remember! I notice only because there is bokeh in pretty much all of the shots I take. I almost never not shoot wide open. Admittedly that is a habit I need to try and break.

The soft rendering suits this perfectly. Nice shot.
