Interesting Leaves
I've been getting some use out of my Pentax FA 100mm f/2.8 Macro lens and I thought these leaves looked interesting.

Re: Interesting Leaves
Hey Steve,
I have the same and dig them quite a bit because they look like green water colour
on white leaves. I think, though, that yours look somewhat underexposed!
I like the composition!

Re: Interesting Leaves
Thanks Kodiak. I just found out that it is a variegated euonymus shrub. It is a bit underexposed but I wanted to keep the whites from blowing out. I'll do better next time.

Re: Interesting Leaves
Steve,
I wouldn't worry about the exposure, although a stop or so brighter would have been better. Here's your histogram:

I don't know what software you use, but it is trivial to brighten this. I did it in seconds with a levels adjustment in photoshop.
I think a bigger issue is the relatively weak separation between the foreground leaves that I assume you want to highlight and the background leaves. The latter, since they are not far out of focus and almost the same brightness, are distracting. I thought of a few things you could try:
--brighten the foreground leaves selectively, or darken the background selectively
--blur the background
