Great shot, well rendered tonal range! …can almost read his emotional state!
Have to agree with Daniel. Nicely captured with fine gray scale. I dig the window lighting on his face. I would have preferred a less dramatic vignette as it seems to contradict (sorry couldn't find the right word) with the lighting on his face. Just my personal opinion. Cheers.
I like the light and the expression , very nice image I would like to see the version with less vignette to make a comparison.
He's definitely got that look, nicely captured.
That's one for the album. Nice capture.
A beautiful capture. Great expression.

This is the SOOC shot just resized:
This was simply desaturated in ACR but has had no processing:
As you can see the light falloff was fairly strong to start with so I added more to concentrate the viewer on Dylan's face. The toning I think adds to the image but that is likely more subjective or even personal.
A wonderful image! I generally don't like a vignette that is this intense but it works really well for me here, better than the image without it. Such great toning!
Great capture Robin!
The colour version is just as good. That's two nice images.
Thanks for the comments.
The colour has the distracting (to me) green Mine Craft logo thing on his t-shirt that pulls the eye away from his face hence I went mono - he a great subject though and very relaxed in front of the camera which helps immensely.
For B&W , IMO the one with strong vignette works better
Nice. I like your treatment very much.
