First time an image of mine will be published.

This elderly couple needed a portrait for a Church publication because they will be married for 57 years in September.

Does this now make me a Professional Photographer? Yes they paid for the “shoot”. Many pay me for ID and passport photo’s.

No! It was shot with the Sony DSC HX100V. That toy with the very tiny sensor! In camera flash.

Not bad, no reflections in eyeglasses and no shadow against backdrop, a bit tight on the crop.

Probably no choice for you; but the deep, vivid blue overwhelms the subjects. Also the lady's turquoise sweater clashes with it. Other than the background, it's a great photo.
