Hyde Lock
A quintessential piece of English historic countryside shot one day last week as we continued our glorious summer. I took it whilst cycling the tow path (I did stop for this though) as in the late afternoon, the light was perfect. I also took a picture of the sign to remind me where it was and then thought, why not combine the two.
C&C welcome

Re: Hyde Lock
What a lovely, peaceful scene. The sign was a good idea. Nicely done.

Re: Hyde Lock
Thank you to you all, I am glad you like it. My husband thought I had overdone the saturation in PP, but I left it as I wanted it - so I am doubly grateful to your comments.

Re: Hyde Lock
As usual, late to this party but hey! I am viewing a nice scene with a nice comp. I love the way you did the whole frame with the sign too...A beautiful place...

Re: Hyde Lock
That's lovely Kaye and to my eye, the saturation is about on the mark.
