She looks like she was snapped out of her boredom. Nice capture.

So can I. Somehow growing up means I'm no longer in that position. Regardless, a nice shot. Sometimes I think it would be nice to be bored...

One or two thoughts; watch your edges when you compose; eliminating some for the bits that have crept into the image on the left and right add complexity to the image and draws our eyes away from the subject. I think that doing this image in B&W works out really well as you have reduced the influence of the furnishings in the room on the image.

Pretty girl....nice composition. I agree with Manfred about the reduction of the furniture -- it focus a lot on the girl on what she was doing.

Enchanting, maybe a vignette or some cloning?

Lovely image Adam I would try cloning out the bit of furniture (?) on the lower right side.

Two images, original upload cloned and original image, slightly sharpened but other than that as it came out of the camera (i never have much time for PSing when i'm at work and haven't got the kit to do it at home), i do love the colours but seem to change everything to mono nowadays. My daughter, the subject loves the colour version.

Your B&W is basically the way I would have done this image, had I taken the shot and done the post-processing work.

Nothing too heavy-handed, but just enough to focus on the girl and her interaction with the deck of cards. I'd probably go a touch further in a couple of areas (a tiny bit of lightening of the shadows on your daugher's face and cloning out the cards that are over the edge of the image on the bottom), but then, it's your image and not mine.

Although I primarily shoot colour, I prefer the B&W version, as it simplifies the scene by removing some of the distractions some of the colours add. Nicely done!
