Hey Brain,
I think…
• you got the exposition right
• you got the colour of the bread right but…
• you focused the close edge of the plate 'should have focused on the second loaf
• there is too much plastic in the frame. Shoot from a higher position to eliminate
unwanted background.
…can almost smell it!

what he said...^^^^, Brian. Love rustic bread. Mine is still in the fridge for overnight rising. I bake a max of 3x a week because I like the smell of bread permeating all over the house...yummmm...
I agree a middle focus could have worked better. certainly a lot of plastic but plastics are endemic in the Philippines so it is legit if less than tasteful.
Allow your nose to imagine fresh oat bread. And if your childhood was somewhat like mine... a peanut butter and fresh banana sandwich for lunch with hot strong coffee to wash it down.
Nice one.
Yes...helps me the next day having fresh bread instead of kneading during the day...it doesn't change the texture....just makes my life easier during the day when I have too much things to do...but as much as possible freshly made from scratch is the best of course because of the effort you put into it. My family loves freshly baked bread especially sourdough and pretzel buns. I love the white version. It is how much and what you put in it that makes one fat. hehehehe...
