    "In my eye, the light falling on the "king" is not coherent with the rest of the scene:
    Nowhere in the scene are shadows to be seen! "

    It looks like a slight shadow by the rooster's feet. Could this simply have been shot on an overcast day?

    Irene, that is a stunning image! The colors are so vivid, and the green background only accents the colors more!

    Thank you Carol. I'm sure the lighting had to do with the colours coming out so very real. It was a sun-less yet bright day.
