    Moon Reflection

I am still getting the hang of Moon pics. I was not necessarily looking to make the moon the star of this photo (no pun intended!), but loved the way it was reflecting in the water.

    C&C welcomed.

Nice composition. If you can adjust the brightness of the Moon and the reflection to suit the surroundings, the overall effect would be one of calmness.

That is one of the tough aspects of moon photography. Unless the moon is mostly obscured by clouds it is very bright, and it isn't possible to get both the moon and the scene properly exposed in a single shot, at least by any techniques I know. So, unless you bracket and combine images, a photo that has the surroundings well exposed with have the moon as a featureless bright light.

Hi Krista I like the image, if you can brigten the water just a little bit it might look better. Your watermark distracts.
