    An evening in Moms Garden

As of late, I have been spending every evening at my folks house caring for Dad so Mom can get a short break to do something for herself, or nothing at all and just relax. Well, when Dad was sleeping yesterday I went out to the garden for some of what I call Photo Therapy and this is what i came up with.

C&C welcomed but at the end of the day these were just to help me relax and unwind.

When out and about it always pays to look up you never know what will be looking back at you.

You are most welcome Kodiak. Mom & Dad have a pair that have been on their property for several years now. It is a rare delight when we actually get to see them. Such a beautiful bird.

Hello Jon: I hope your "garden therapy" gave you a few moments of serenity. The little owl is charming and I love the unusual garden mannequin.

Suzan, that "little" owl is about 18" tall and nearly 5' wing span...not so little by Indiana standards.
The Garden Mannequin is Moms "Moss Lady". I am not sure where she is going with it because this is just the start. I imagine she will be quite colorful in the coming years.

Jon, what a beautiful garden in which one can relax and let the day's worries slip away. I love the owl images, especially #7!

I have a couple of owls around here, I can hear them at night, but I've never been fortunate enough to see them, so that definitely was a highlight of your garden relaxation!

I love the moss lady and particularly your second shot. Be a good photographic study over time if Mom is developing her. The olw shots are lovely too - obviously quite happy you were around.
