    Okay Kim!

I cleaned the scene some. Various spots that bugged me and the stuff on Mr. Bear’s lip. Included some of the isolated white hairs. Not a whole lot but I can’t help myself on this!

Removed a couple of the speculars from the bottom part of his eye. Ran a sharpening tool over the eye set at 50%. One pass. Also over the nostrils and lips. No other sharpening.

You hit the contrast nail on the head. But I did it with dodging and burning and very selectively. Highlights and midtones only; no shadows. Dodged the highlights a bit, burned down the mids a bit. Dodged the remaining speculars in the eye a tad. And only to Mr. Bear. He is such a handsome devil I hoped to accentuate his beauty, mane, and coat.

Finally I gave the shot some vignetting so that there would be no doubt his handsome mug would rule the scene!

Maybe he needs a shave, I don’t know Kim! He looks like a Rock Star to me!

You two are lucky to have each other Kim.

Terry, this is SO very helpful. Thank you so much for taking the time to edit Bear and then explain it to me. Your changes are oh so subtle, but make such a nice difference. Thank you for making Bear even more handsome :-)

    The pleasure was mine Kim!

He made me grin from ear to ear as I spent time with him and he is worth it.

Thank you for allowing that. You have what I consider a great shot of him!
