I just learned two things:
• a mountain range is called the Remarkables
• and that you, Dave, did introduced them to me remarkably!
I did not see such documentary quality photographs for quite some time!
Thank you!

Nicely captured, the breeze across the water creates quite a textured look, everything else is smoothly captured.
Very good - I see you escaped from your baby sitting duties long enough to enjoy the scenery....
I love the 2nd shot, Dave. That is the kind of scenic photograph I like to look at when I am cooped up inside.
Thanks for your comments Kodiak, John, L.Paul and Greg.
Don't thank me Kodiak, thank the Kiwis ! If there is one thing they do well it's scenery (and rugby) - it's just a little hard to understand them sometimes with all those "clipped vowels".
Yes L.Paul we did have a little free time for sightseeing. And the weather was brilliant for the last few days.

Beautiful shots, reminds me of the Tetons. #s 4 & 2 are my favorite.
Absolutely stunning. We were there last November and it was equally impressive
at that time of year.

Not a weak one in the set. Impressive stuff. All excellent compositions. And the light ....! Beautiful.
That's a great set and what a lovely place. NZ is on our bucket list and I have duly made a note.
Many thanks Jack, Irene and Donald. Your comments are much appreciated.
Dave
Sorry John, we must have been typing at the same time. Thank you too. Queenstown is just one of many beautiful places in NZ.
Dave
Wonderful captures Dave, Remarkables is a fitting title for the Mountain Range!
Lovely photos Dave, I like all of them
Excellent set Dave, well done. They are all very good, I love the TSS Earnslaw image. We were there at the beginning of March this year, NZ is a place that I must go back to. I may even try to get to Nelson.
All wonderful images Dave but the second one is my favourite, it shows the expanse and beauty of the country.
I'm curious though, coming from Brisbane, how did you handle the cold
I like #4 best Dave...agree with NZ being very beautiful at anytime of the year...whenever I go home for a visit to Oz I always include stopping a night or two in NZ until two years ago...#2 is nice too...Don't you just find it fascinating talking to those Kiwis? I think they have an interesting accent but Greg (Footloose) will disagree with me on this. Just one short phrase at a time for me...and slowly...slowly...was what I said to that woman chatting me up on the plane back home...
