Sunset at Batam Island, Indonesia

Last month, I went to Batam Island for a short vocation.

Batam is an island, municipality (an Indonesian kotamadya), and the largest city (on the island) in Riau Islands Province within Indonesia. Batam is a free trade zone, part of the Indonesia–Malaysia–Singapore Growth Triangle, located 20 km (12 mi) off Singapore's south coast.

I stayed in KTM Resort, a beach/spa resort for two nights. During my stay there, I photographed some pictures of the resort and sunset at the swimming pool. C & C are welcome.

Someone left a coffee cup in #2...why are all those ladies posing like that with their hands on their chin? Did you ask them to pose for you? Just asking...I love the background...especially the sun...I am fascinated by those round things at the bottom near your foreground. What are they? I love this one very much...just a straightforward shot...just like in a travel catalog sort of shot...all it need is a description box at one side explaining the beauty of the place and the pleasure one can derive from spending time there...

#1 & #2 are snapshot. #4 is the original of #2. The man on the right of the picture is the actual photographer. Not me.
#3, regarding those round things, they are some sort of decoration made of used bicycle tyre.
