No one is keen on the swan even me Izzie. Just posted to show what the lens does at a distance of 50m at 300mm. It's a crop.

What I found interesting is what the telescopic compression has done to the ripples in the water - it looked the same a around the duck. Noise - no I don't think so. Could be out of focus seagulls and all sorts of things. Thank's to the reflections off the water the dynamic range is a bit weird too. The main problem with doing anything to the shot is the ripples on the water. Something to tuck into the back of my mind. There are other complication caused by using 300mm on m 4/3 at times.
