    Seascape 5 - Blue Morning

This one had been planned for a few weeks but it was a matter of getting the weather along with tide and sunrise time right. More significantly hoping the boat was not removed.

Knowing that I wanted to take this well before sunrise and a long exposure being necessary I had aimed for the boat to be just bottomed to restrict movement.

As soon as I set up I realised I had forgotten to take my longer FL lens so was limited to 20mm max but it worked out not too bad with this shot and the light reflections.

This is the first edit, minimal PP with some hesitation regarding its brightness.

    8s, f/11, ISO200, 20mm, taken 21mins before sunrise, tide 1.05mtrs.

    Seascape 5 - Blue Morning

Comments and suggestions welcome as always.

I wonder about a slight crop from the top and right side?

The general scene looks good to me.

Geoff, this one has had a small amount cropped from the bottom already and as always can never decide my favourite crop so look forward to suggestions.

I agree the top can be cropped but had considered it would be preferable to crop a bit off the left rather than the right. I feel cropping the right pushes the boat towards the centre.

Will be interesting to hear other ideas.

Don't even thick of changing anything!
In my book, you get a maximum points for this shot.
    Congratulations.

That's quite a compliment Daniel, thank you. I will however tidy up the area where the heron at tree top right refused to remain still for 8 seconds.

Thank you Greg, it still amazes me the beauty that can be captured on what was a drizzly cloudy morning.

Simply stunning Grahame! I am sitting in the camp with those that say don't do a darned thing to this image.

You are setting the bar very high for these types of shots

Superb Grahame, there are three things I think you should do with this image, print, frame and hang it with pride on your wall
