Edit is OK… always want to learn!

    Re: Eleanor full of Joy

Rob does it again! …another test Rob?

This was a good attempt: the shot is clear, bright, sharp, dynamic and joyful!
Everything is perfect but the essential: the eyes. No eyes Rob! …and no chance
since her glasses are blocking whatever possible view of them.

This could, given the great light conditions, have been another fortunate test…
    darn! ;-)

Thanks for noticing and yes, Daniel, you guess right, another test shot :-)

I was trying to make her relax so we did a few fun shots. Here is the final print:

    Eleanor full of Joy

More serious, but still joyful. Cheers :-)

Love the shot with or without the eyes.

I prefer #1, I never care about the eyes being open or in sharp focus in your images. They are mostly much more powerful than those neat and tidy ones because of the feelings in them , they communicate with the viewer very nicely and strongly. Congratulations Rob. I might as well like #2 too but my preference is certainly #1

Nicely done, something different when it comes to portraits.

Love it Rob. The eyes closed don't bother me, I love the motion effect of the hair and the glasses. Great stuff!!

Thanks for your usual kind words, Binnur. Mean a lot to me. My client was happy with both versions. But I too prefer the first one. There are more feelings in it :-)

Cheers, Travis. Thanks for kind words. I actually prefer the first one. I printed the second one because I was thinking that the father of the teenager expected a more composed posture. A few weeks later I gave (gratis) the dad a print of the first version and he really liked it.
