No worries Gerry. Often with images like this the things that make the biggest difference are white balance - exposure - brightness - black clipping point - saturation & vibrancy. Because of the extreme contrast the highlights always blow to some degree - so it becomes more of a quandry as to what to do with the mid-tones and shadows. Often the best result is one where you'll make large changes in ACR. Sharpening can also make or break this kind of image.
