All three are great!! I especially like #3. The B&W along with the bridge is really good.

I agree, #3 is my favourite too, but then it's at an angle you can't usually get (at least not without getting into trouble) and I like railways. A nice bit of straight line with an excellent vanishing point and symmetry, well done.

For my personal taste, #1 has a bit too much black clipped foreground, a crop of 15% off the bottom would suit me.

#2 sort of works, but I can't help feeling it isn;t the ideal arrangement of sun angle and clouds. Also, the basic composition might benefit from another 10% extra on the left hand side, the brightly lit horizontal rails are just too near the corner.

    Cheers,

This brings back memories of when I used to live in Cambridge (I assume it is Cambridge?). I like the bridge - very effective. I like #1 too, but I think you need to reduce the extremes of black/white as it's losing too much detail.

    I do believe it.

Round here, all our crossings are fenced and barriered etc., but I've seen in the news of fatalities on those kind of crossings out in the fens, etc.

BTW, I like the recrop on #1, but think it may need just one notch more contrast (I know; some people are never happy, sorry).

    Cheers,

No, I would take a different view. I like just as it is (i.e. the re-worked version)
