You've made a face that only a mother could love look impressive. I have the same lens and extension tube. Unfortunately (or fortunately, depending upon your point of view) I live in a place that is not home to many insects, so I can never find anything interesting to shoot. Your image is quite the opposite. Well done.

    Re: Dragon Fly Portrait

Cheers Jeff, much appreciated, why the lack of insects? I always took it for granted there would be loads of bug life where you are Where I am its hotter than usual for this time of year, so I am hoping that this is the cause for the lack of bugs The only thing that it does not seem to deter are Dragon Fly's, there are loads here at the moment

Thanks John, I got mine on Ebay, about half the price of new ones, don't buy the cheap ones! The Kenko ones do the job

Beautiful shot. Have you cropped it? Seems like too much magnification for that combination without cropping. Very well done in either case.

    Re: Dragon Fly Portrait

Thanks Dan, yes it's cropped a bit, because of the flash there was too much dark bits in the background so I decided to crop and liked it

    Cheers David
