Mom's Apple Pie & Sweet Corn

There is a saying that no apple pie is as good as your mother's apple pie.

Really disappointed here Mike, I was expecting the real deal smothered in custard!

I like almost every aspect of it! I would suggest two ways to improve it:
    • I would have dodged the entrance door, the head and the pants of the
customer just a tad to increase details rendition
    • you still have to learn everything, for subject like this, about olfactive rendition! ;-)

I did but perhaps not enough. Thanks for mentioning it!

    I'm working on it.

Wonderful image! I adore the composition and the view through the windows. Truly timeless. The image and the appreciation of apple pie.

I'll take that as a special compliment. The so-called customer is my wife. She approached the door from the left exactly as I asked her to do. I held down the shutter release button during her approach. The camera clicked away at 3 frames per second and I chose the best capture to post-process once I got home. I wouldn't want anyone to think this is an example of street photography, which is one reason I didn't post the image in that forum.

Ahem. Not only would the idea of pouring custard onto apple pie seem to this American to be the appalling ruination of the dessert, we Americans know for goodness sake that real custard doesn't pour. We believe it was made to be solid to prevent people from making such a horrible mistake.
