Three views of honeybees on asclepius
We have a lot of honeybees and bumblebees in the garden today. I had no luck with the bumblebees, as is often the case, so I tried some shots of honeybees on asclepius that we planted for monarchs. I gave myself a slight break and used a 20mm tube instead of my usual 36mm. 100mm macro, 50D, diffused flash, 1/125, f/13.
C&C welcome, as always.
I also went back to my old diffuser rather than take the time now to rebuild my coke-can diffuser. This one is a stofen omnibounce, with an extra layer of diffusing plastic on the inside, aluminum foil around the sides to avoid light coming out the sides, and two layers of plain kitchen paper towel.
