    On Location Shoot 1 - #2 Image - C&C Welcome

Hi, going forward on my photography venture I stopped and clicked another shot. Can you please review it and let me know what exactly is missing for it to make it much better?

In this image, I have used 24 inch softbox with yongnuo flash (full manual flash) at 6.00 pm in the evening. i.e approx 30 min before sunset and it was clicked it in shades.

In the Post Processing I did wb correction, color correction, Little contrast adjustments.

Please provide your views and suggestion with composition and processing.

    Thank You

Special thanks to Manfred Mueller (GrumpyDiver) and other CIC members who helped me to visualize cropping in such shoots.

PS : Please click on the image for lightbox screen view (Highly recommended).

Nicely captured and the watermark is not so intrusive.

A very nice image, Raj. I think this one is quite effective. You are definitely close enough to your subject in this shot; nice crop.

Most of the comments I might make are fairly minor and related to your lighting. How are you positioning your flash? With a 24 inch softbox; I have to assume it is off camera. How far away from your subject are you positioning it and how high is it??

Thanks a lot for your kind review. I remember the light source was 3-4 feet away on the right of the subject i.e left of the image and approx 40-45 degree high from the face.

I would have to agree. Normally I am not a big fan of watermarks solely for the intrusive factor, however you did a great job of not making the watermark the main focus of the shot.

As far as the actual shot is concerned I think you nailed the: lighting, focus, depth, posture (this may have been the model however you can have credit .)

The negative aspects include...that's it. Nice work.
