    All of these are far better than the photo in your first thread. I prefer the first of these three photos, which surprises me because I'm generally fond of tight crops.

    Thanks Mike. I sometimes amaze myself (not that these shots are amazing by any means) when I just slow down and think about things. I am getting closer to that elusive image in my head.

    I like #3. How would it look cropped just below the dark area between the back seats? Nice b&w conversion.

    Regarding the crop...I think it puts the bow too close to the top of the frame.
    What are your thoughts??

    To me, these are nice and better than the original picture. Before I saw your last post, I thought that #1 was preferable because it had more at the top of the image to balance the expanse of the reflection. I still prefer it to the last crop.

    It's interesting that you can see the reflection of the rocks in the reflection of the boat.

    I like the first because it shows the full length of the boat but there is not enough of the reflection. I like the 2nd because it focuses more on the reflection but it shows too much background. In the 3rd I find the reflection a bit weak - it shows too much of the rocks on the bottom for me.
