These are great images - hope the second visit doesn't disappoint. I'm going in the opposite direction or I'd be tempted to head north too - the weather is set fair !

Photographically speaking I don't think the second display was as good as the first from my point of view.

Lot's of white fireworks rather than colour and the smoke was blowing offshore which reduced the atmosphere a bit for me.

I still think I got some reasonable stuff so I'll post some up later.

These are the three I chose for this display.

Less photogenic than the last one with an offshore breeze and low tide which I think it has left the sky a bit bald.

This is almost a straight single frame, the only thing added is a longer exposure of the big wheel to allow more rotation.

These white fireworks seemed to be the theme of the Austrian display. It also seems that the pyro. engineers tend to think in two dimensions, only building displays for one viewing angle, the promenade.

Given that there are two other piers, I am surprised that neither team has considered that there are thousands of spectators looking side on to their displays.

This final shot is a composite of bursts from different parts of the display.

So far my vote would go to the Swedish display, the first one, but it will be interesting to find out what the judges think.

These are superb IMHO Wayland. The reflections are cool, well done.

Another great set of shots, I particularly like the third one as your reflections are more complete

Hi Wayland, the reflection in the third image is more complete but overall I feel that the first of this set is more interesting to view. Very nice, all three!

Yes, I think that's the best of the second set too.
