    That is a tricky one, Brian. I would try selectively toning down the highlights in the centre (with Curves?). Probably use an Adjustment Layer with the blend mode set to Luminosity so it just reduced the brightness without any saturation or colour loss.

    Alternatively, if shot Raw, I might try two separate conversions with different Exposure settings, etc, then combine the two with an edited mask.

    Hey Brian, I wonder…

    • what if you would have focused on the moon…
    • what if you would have exposed longer because the aperture had been say ƒ16
    to accommodate the palms?

    Just wondering…

    That's pretty. I would have thought it would be noisier, being taken with a finepix Fujifilm. I use one too. I don't know about PP, changing it much could be detrimental to it.
