Port Hope Jazz Fest
Went out to the Port Hope Jazz Fest on Friday night. I do not usually shoot people as sorry to say I find most uninteresting, now what they might be doing yes interesting, usually though not interesting. I was also shooting with a flash (SB-800 with a small softbox diffuser), again something I do not usually do, along with a old 28-70mm Nikkor lens that I have had on by D70 IR camera. The lens is very small when compared to the newer 24-70mm, and because it is so small and compact it does not cause a shadow when used with the flash.
So here are two shots that I took from that Friday night show.
Cheers: Allan

Hi Allan I like the shots. I wish the man on the left in #2 wasn't cropped. Can the highlights on the man's face at the front of #2 be reduced with PP?

Hi Allan,
If the faces don't interest you, perhaps shooting their hands or feet will give you more inspiration.

Binnur as I say I really do not shoot people that much, and did not notice his face I was looking at the image overall and missed it. So I did a slight curves adjustment with a mask to take some of the shine off his face.

Wonderful shot! I really love #1 a lot...the the characters have those expressions on their faces that are interesting...can easily put some captions on what they are doing or thinking...
