    Lake Placid

Went here early this morning to do a bit of recon for a "full moon" shot in the next couple of days, and snapped a few shots, this one was my favourite

    Any feedback welcome.

    Lake Placid

    Thanks

That's nice matt. I like the inclusion of just that little bit of shoreline on the RHS.

    Thanks guys

John, I was debating whether to leave that in or not. I thought it might be a little bit of a distraction.

Personally I'd crop out the shore and go for a more abstract image but either way it is a fascinating shot.

Interesting image, I think you can go either way here, with or without the foreground.

Can we see it in a larger size please, say 1200px wide?

Lovely moody shot. Perfect for a moon shot I imagine. I think maybe a crop on the bottom and make it more of a minimalistic image, but delightful as is.

Very nice shot Matt Although I like it as it is, if you crop the stone in the FG , you get another image with reflections and IMO it looks lovely that way too.

BTW , are you a fan of V for Vendetta ?

Thank you Binnur, and I did see V for Vendetta but this mask was for a fancy dress costume unrelated.
