Yellowstone, Jackson Hole, Tetons...photo opportunity suggestions?
I'm less than two weeks out now for my trip to Wyoming. My girlfriend has been there a few times and has a pretty good grasp of the layout of the area, but in talking with her last night, she said she's never been in late September and we're hoping to get some changing leaves. I really enjoy trying to get photos of wildlife. A good shot of a moose, bear or wolf would be SO satisfying.
I realize the whole state is pretty much a photo opportunity but I figured I'd ask here if anyone had suggestions on where to go for good shot opportunities. Any tips and or suggestions would be appreciated.
We're staying in Alpine, Wy for our base camp. (House sitting), but will be venturing up to Yellowstone for some over night stays. I also want to travel up to Boseman, Mt to see the Gibson Guitar shop.
I'm SO looking forward to this!
Anyway, any suggestions would be appreciated. Best place for specific animals shots? Best time of day and location for a wide angle of the Tetons?
Thanks!

Somehow, I think Teton Chuck is the one to reply to this post but he is missing in action lately. I hope he is OK with the fire out his area...

There is a specific pond that people go to for the Teton reflection picture, I don't remember for sure where it is because i moved from there 10 years ago, but it isn't far off the main road in the park. I know this isn't very helpful, but you can also ask around when you get to Jackson. It is full of photographers and everyone was super friendly when I lived there.
