    Looks good, Matt.

I may be tempted to square up the side verticals, but not really a problem. Would it take a tiny bit of extra brightness?

I thought the same thing...lighten the shot bit. It looks like a nice place to visit..all those mysterious rooms and doors inside enough to make one's hair stands to attention...maybe add more to the top to see more of the sky and the clouds?

Nicely done, very tight on the crop.

    Impressive residence, Matt!

    @ Geoff & Izzie:
Extra brightness? No, the lack of brightness comes from a yellow over tone
that "fogs" the micro contrast … but you're right about the keystoning.

    @ Matt:
Since no one noticed the yellow, may I suggest the correction:

Nice image indeed Matt I would clone the white thin bar at the top and I would correct the lens distortion.

Still looks a bit flat to me, Kodiak. I think the midtone lighting needs a boost

    You may be well right!

Since I did not see the castle, I can only guess. An other point is that the take
was captured in harsh light… so the charm is not there as all colour tones are
going crazy in these conditions and some textures are flooded with light.

    Re: Margam Castle

Thanks for all the feedback guys I have tried to take it on board and have made some adjustments to the image.

Kodiak: I am very new to photography, although I signed up to the site in April 2013 I lost my camera and have only last month been able to get hold of another. I mention this because I had not heard of "keystoning" before it was mentioned in this thread... Anyway I looked it up and have tried to correct it here:

Aah...I would get rid of that white bar thingy at the top center.

But how are they going to fly a flag now that you have chopped down their pole.

A noticeable improvement on the original. Only fairly minor tweaks but they have made a difference.
