Sunday's Moon

I'm glad I took my shot on Sunday when it was nice and clear. Last night there were some clouds and haze which caused diffuse images. Tonight there's a low overcast. I took this early in the evening before it was totally dark and the moon was still fairly low in the southeast sky. When viewed in a room without bright lights there are plenty of stars visible too.

This is a good moonshot, too. I like the highlights on the moon's surface - they remind me of pictures of the sun for some reason.

I can see that is is still yellow from being on the horizon. That's a cool shot.
