That would have been a great shot, had you nailed it. Too bad about the motion blur.

She chose the wrong colour of umbrella -- the chopsticks in her hair matches it...

    Good colour mix there John.

What confuses me is if it is motion blur it's surprising that the umbrella was not affected equally by it.

    Grahame,

Thanks for the comments and inquiry. Not sure, the focus indicator was positioned directly over her right eye.

John - when I first looked at it, I thought missed focus, as the some of the umbrella features seemed to be clearer than her face, but when I zoomed in on her face, one could clearly see motion blur at her teeth, lips and eyes. I wonder if the problem might not be a bit of both.

I find that I try to shot these types of shots at 1/500 when I shoot at 200mm on a full frame to get maximum sharpness. When shooting at 1/125 at 270mm, even with VR on, you are unlikely to get a sharp exposure. Try bumping your ISO up a bit to give you higher shutter speeds.

    Manfred,
    but
Thanks for the suggestions, normally I would shoot at a higher shutter speed and higher ISO but wanted to see what I could achieve with the chosen settings.

Above shots are very good. The lady is pretty and the blur of the hands in action is excellent. Love it.
