Re: Westport Ontario
Very nice images I would clone the red, green and white coloured things in the water.

Cool shots: WB, PoF and rendition are right on.
Since this area is a boating area, I would not remove the buoys as they are
part of the features of such water body.

Re: Westport Ontario
Very good Paul, my preference with these is No 3 very closely followed by No 1. Reasoning for No 3 is I like the inclusion of the very close grasses on the right, seems to help with UWAs.
No 4 could do with a bit of distortion correction for the houses on the left.

Re: Westport Ontario
Nicely done, your distance to subject has almost made the UWA a normal lens.

Re: Westport Ontario
Nice shots Paul. We often drive through Westport on our way from Ottawa to Kingston and points west, but other than stopping for gas or an ice cream, we've never stopped to explore the town. The view from the top of Foley Mountain from Regional Road 10 across the Upper Rideau Lake has always been a view I've really enjoyed. Now that you've posted; I think we'll have a longer look the next time we pass through that way.
I like the last image with the houses on it. The one with the red roof just pulls my eyes right into the image.

Re: Westport Ontario
Thanks Manfred......I have never been up the mountain but I think I will in a few weeks when the trees are changing. The red roofed house is owned by a former neighbour of mine.
