Modesty forbids .... but !

Some of you were kind enough to say nice things about the version of this that I had in Mono Mini Competition #2.

It has been picked up by The Herald, one of Scotland's 'quality' national daily newspapers and featured in their 'Picture of the Day slot, today. Only problem is that they cropped a bit off the left hand side which, IMO, reduced the impact. But, there's not a lot you can do once the press get in amongst things.

But, quite pleased.

Excellent work Donald and I am going to be really smug here and say it does not surprise me in the least. Next I really want to see your work on a gallery wall. You have a certain way of capturing little bits of Scotland that makes such a refreshing change from the usual 'top of a shortbread tin' cliches and I would be surprised if that goes un-noticed.
