John, your recent images are very cool - is there a story behind them?

    Hi Grahame,

This young woman was part of a live art exhibit.

    Hi Kim,

This young lady and the one from Ice Princess were part of a live art exhibit. The models were positioned atop a large pedestal and clothed in long gowns which made them appear ten feet tall.

It's gotta be an age thing because when I see a pretty lady, I tend to dissect them and enjoy the parts.
Look at her hands...the long fingers belong on a piano player.

An age thing or a Lady Killer thing, nicely spotted on the hands.

I like the colour of the first one, John. What did you do to the second one, a bit of saturation or did you use a plug-in.

She is a pretty lady. I would die to have her long fingers as my hands are smaller (like Elton John's) when I play the piano. But if I have hands like that, I need a lot of money to be able to hire a cook, a gardener, a house cleaner and a big house and I better be good in bed as that will be the only qualification I would need to please my husband because everything is paid for.

    Hi Izzie,

Thanks for the comments. Both were initially processed using LR, then NIK software.

Wow! Cool image John I find the colors better in the first version because her skin has a bluish unnatural color in the second.

First one for me John. I prefer the greater saturation.

That is a pretty subject, John. I think it could use a dose of sharpness, though. I prefer the colour of the first version but in both I would pull down the brightness of the dress.

I have just ordered this set of Fantasy digital backgrounds from eBay..

    http://www.ebay.com/itm/MAGICAL-WOOD.../181531688503?

My plans are to to a Fantasy 2015 Calendar for our dog rescue organization using these digital backgrounds. However, when I saw your images, I thought that it might be fun to incorporate some those digital backgrounds with your portraits...

    Hi John,

Just to say that these are both lovely. I love the sense of a magical fairy tale, and the background is especially beautiful. I prefer the 1st image because the light stands out more.
