Mood Music
I am working on some images that I put away for a better time and better circumstance.
This is one.
Please C&C.

Re: Mood Music
Very nice and mystical, not sure if this is a double exposure or just the effects from haze but it works.

Re: Mood Music
You have captured that mist beautifully Marie along with the rays and reflections. I'm unable to find anything I'm not 100% pleased with.
I have to say I envy your ability to produce an appropriate title.

Re: Mood Music
Pleasant scene with lovely lighting BUT (what a dreaded word) have you considered cropping the bottom off from just past where the strong reflection of the left hand shaft of light ends. It would eliminate the miscellaneous reflections along the bottom edge that are a bit of a distraction, emphasis the interesting angle that the shaft and its reflection make and also provide a stronger base.
P.S. Definitely leave the log in the water on the right hand side well in.

Re: Mood Music
Beautiful colours in a dramatic but calm image - if that makes any sense. I love it and hope you do too

Re: Mood Music
As soon as I saw the image I immediately thought of Van Morrison's "Into The Mystic".
It may be a stretch but....I'm really curious to see this as B&W

Re: Mood Music
That is a beautiful scene, Marie. Well done capturing the light and shadows.
Jack: that is interesting. I thought of Tupelo Honey.

Re: Mood Music
John, Grahame and Travis, thank you. Sometimes it is nice to go back and work on images when you have better skills - and better software.
L. Paul, thank you for the suggestion of the crop. but I loved the way the rays and reflections formed a diamond, framing the scene. If i cropped the bottom, I would loose that continuity.
Kaye! thanks for commenting.
Izzie, as always.
Binnur, thank you for your suggestion, but I like the image the composition that it is.
Jack, I will have a play in b&w, but one of the things i really liked about this image was the color.
Greg, thank you. Richard, thank you, too.

Re: Mood Music
Lovely image, Marie. I can feel myself sitting there enjoying the coolness of the morning and watching the sun rise. I'm also of the opinion for cropping the bright spots out of the bottom. Also perhaps clone out the floating object in left of frame. But those are merely small opinionated optimizations. It's wonderful as is. Nicely done.
