Got cookies?
This is a favorite image of mine that languished for 3 years.
Please C&C.

Re: Got cookies?
Nice capture, I would tone down the eyes a bit.

Highlights look to be a bit bright but that's nice Marie.

Re: Got cookies?
The expression is perfectly captured! My horse looks for cookies every morning... They are such characters.

Re: Got cookies?
I did a bit of horse riding in my high school days. Believe it or not I lived in Brooklyn, New York and we had a local park of many square miles in size with miles and miles of bridal paths. There were stables with horses to rent. I actually belonged to the high school riding club.
I have not interfaced with horses for years but, still have a fondness for them. This image really shows the warmth and friendliness of a horse...

That's simply awesome, Marie. I can see why it's a favorite.

John 2, what I liked best about this image was the contrast of light, and how it played on Buck's face.
John, Buck's eyes are striking, in and of themselves.
They are a warm caramel, and to me, show beautifully because of the directionality of light.
Kim, Richard and Dan, thanks! I have been involved with my beloved horses pretty much all my life.
Over the past few years, however, my health has not permitted this.
