Which part of that scene are you struggling with, Jeremy?
The Egret is feeding amongst stones in shallow water. Not sure what its dinner will be in that particular case but around here (in an estuary) they mostly take small fish up to around 4 inches in length.
Egrets are always tricky to photograph due to their fine white feathers which are so often surrounded by a dark background. So that shot has worked very well.
Looks like a Great White Egret Jeremy. We have quite a few on the coast around here and as Geoff has said, it is so easy to blow the highlights against dark background. The shallow water helps to give you an interesting BG. When they are stood in deeper water, gets a bit bland unless you can get down low.
