I can't believe how obliging your subjects appear to be.

    Well done!

They're all taxidermy specimens. Joking apart, they are stunning macros.

Thank you Binnur, they managed to take 99% of the pink stuff back and exchanged it for blue

Cheers Dave, about 8 out of 10 times they return to the same perch, so with a bit of patience and a lot of luck you sometimes get a keeper

First class as always David, the colours of 2 & 3 are really appealing with these.

What is that they are perched on?

I share the Grahame's preference to for #2 and #3, David...excellent shots all. And welcome back...a wonderful event you've been to. I am glad most of the items already bought were replaceable. Hope you enjoyed your vacation. I told my son once that my grandchild is a "blessing"; he looked at me sharply and without stopping a beat he said "I call her sleepless nights!"

    Re: Dragon Fly's

Another excellent set David. Yours are always pin sharp where it matters. Saw a documentary on animal senses the other evening and it turns out that Dragon Flies are the most successful predator on the planet because their vision is like a high speed camera and they see in everything in slow motion. They can consequently totally anticipate the movements of their prey. Fascinating. What was just as fascinating was that the cameraman had managed to capture a dragon fly on the wing catching an insect. How does that compare with BIF?
