Hi guys n gals, been away for a couple of weeks for the birth of another grandson, my son and his wife decided to have one of these super wonderful 4d scans to know the sex of their baby, after being told it was a girl they started buying all the pink stuff At 7.30a.m. on September 2nd I got a call from my son telling me my granddaughter was a grandson The pink stuff is now blue

Anyway still not very many bugs to shoot here, so here are some more Dragon Fly's None of the images have been cropped, all 1-1 mag. #1 was with my MPE-65, #2 and #3 with my 100mm macro! C&C Welcome

I share the Grahame's preference to for #2 and #3, David...excellent shots all. And welcome back...a wonderful event you've been to. I am glad most of the items already bought were replaceable. Hope you enjoyed your vacation. I told my son once that my grandchild is a "blessing"; he looked at me sharply and without stopping a beat he said "I call her sleepless nights!"

Another excellent set David. Yours are always pin sharp where it matters. Saw a documentary on animal senses the other evening and it turns out that Dragon Flies are the most successful predator on the planet because their vision is like a high speed camera and they see in everything in slow motion. They can consequently totally anticipate the movements of their prey. Fascinating. What was just as fascinating was that the cameraman had managed to capture a dragon fly on the wing catching an insect. How does that compare with BIF?
