    Hi Joe,

Not everyone would agree with me (perfectly entitled not to), but if I had taken this shot, I would clone out (or move slightly) the two birds that appear to be 'touching' the tower.

I particularly like the framing, well done.

    Cheers, Dave

I think that suggestion has merit. I will try it. Usually when I clone something out I mess it up and the changes are visible! However practice makes perfect as my mom used to say. Thanks for the tip!

…or, if you are a very lazy bear like me, wait a second or two for the birds to clear the tower!
I surely agree with you but not on the method! ;-)

Cool! …but the proof does not pass the scrutinizing eye! This means two things:
    • unless redone meticulously, the shot can hardly find the way to your wall (that would be bad!)
    • better be lazy and use the bear method! ;-)

    Re: Blue

The revised version is so much nicer. When birds are flying in the sky, it's best to hold the shutter down to take at least 5 or 6 shots so you can select the best one when you get back to the computer. I also agree with Kodiak that upon close inspection the clouds near the lighthouse look odd. The image is nice enough that it would be well worth the effort to improve upon that.

I have done that ( 5 or 6shots) and had good results. This time not. So post processing is my only choice in this case. Thank you for your help.
