    Colourful Bubbling Creek

We drove the backroads and countryside enjoying
the colour of a gorgeous late summer
day. We lingered by many brooks and streams as this one.
    Again, C&C appreciated.

This one is great as it is… delicious! Thank you!
I love the presence of the shady stones in the foreground.
I would have place the PoF on the large stone in the sun… but that's just me!

It's a matter of personal taste, Irene, but I would have cropped the dark out of focus foreground by around half of the stones; and a balancing amount from the right side where there is an out of focus branch.

Lovely lighting and a good shutter speed just gets some movement in the water. I too would crop, I think, some off the bottom so the water runs out the left corner, but I'm no landscaper

Thank you Geoff. I appreciate your ( and everyone's) input. It's interesting how an image is viewed and critiqued as per the viewers' taste / preference which makes for several editing options thus a great learning exercise.
