    Unusual set this.

You will notice the dual credit straight away.

We were looking for a dramatic image to link in with the Lindow Man, a first century bog body found not far from where we are.

Diane is a very talented professional photographer that I know and we decided to collaborate on the images you see here.

I provided kit and costume, we both scouted locations, Diane shot the pictures and I produced the final images you see here.

Very interesting working together with another photographer.

You look ready to defend yourself against the Scots if they decide to sweep down to England in an effort to break free of the shackles.....

Very good. I think the saturation and lighting is spot on - very rich colours but not over done.

Good team work! Great "mise en scène", costume and location.

Maybe the photographer would have attracted your attention to
the different colour temperatures between the first take and the
    two others.

I did notice the additional warmth of the second two and it makes Gary look far more suitably weather beaten.

There was about an hour between the two locations.

We were after the warm evening light and timed it perfectly for the shots by the pool. Lindow is named after the Black Lake (Llyn Dhu) which is a tiny remnant of the great meres and bogs that have almost disappeared now, so it seemed most appropriate to the story.

The first picture was an insurance shot really in case we didn't get anything later but I quite liked the end result which I'll probably us in a different context.

Wayland...when I saw the first shot, I looked at it and reckoned it is a planned shot...I like that shot. The little space with the limb of the tree naturally forming a cross looks like a little window (in the middle of the tree near your face), nature's mysterious window. It matches the scene you created there. And I like your close up shot, last one. The drama on your face nailed it there for me.

Interesting series Wayland, the colours and light add so much to them.
