    A couple of waterfall shots...

Went for a walk up to some local waterfalls today that for some reason I'd never actually shot before! It rained most of the night and was hoping that it would be a bit stronger than it was. One thing that stands out to me is the glare from the source of the water, I think it would be OK if I could tone it down a bit.

    Any C&C welcomed

Nice captures Matt, I agree they need the highlights toning down a bit

Nice try Matt. A few months ago I tried waterfalls and had a lot of glare in my images too. in the comments I received here it was suggested that I use a cpl filter. Bought one, tried it out, and it works like a charm in cutting down the glare. Hope this helps.

Thanks guys, I think I will have to go back there and try these again sometime. I will look into the CPL filter Rita

Hi Matt, please mind that if you use a CPL filter it will give you about 1,5-2 stop longer shutter speed and I think it is good to have a longer shutter speed for the shots above because the water will look silky then
