there is an amazing subtlety and beauty within these blossoms that is not hard to find but to do them true justice will take a few(?) more tries.

Not a problem, I just turned 63 and getting confused and or forgetful is becoming a common occurrence.

    Brian, very lovely image...

I have you, or you have me (depending on how we look at things) by 11-years. Just passed 74 in June...

BTW: Regarding aging: If you lose your car keys, that doesn't mean you have Alzheimer's... It's when you find them and wonder, "what the heck are these things" that you need to begin worrying!

You definitely have me. I don't know if I will make 74 but 74 and still active is doubtful. A small aside 12 years ago we bought a papered Doberman. We needed a guard dog and the people here are scared of Dobermans. He is a true friend and a great part of our pack. About 6 months ago we thought we would add another member to our pack so we got a heinz 57 to keep our Doberman company and active. As far as smarts, loyalty, intelligence, and all around niceness they are a dead tie.

there are legit reasons for buying a papered dog but most of the time a 'rescued dog' will do he job quite nicely.
