Hello Arindam...welcome to this forum. I do not know what kind of bird this is. I rather think it has the feathers and body of a duck even if it has a different kind of beak to a duck. The shot is interesting, but for me it needs a little bit more room at the top of the bird. Actually, it is a very nice shot. I am just confused about what kind it is..

Nicely composed, sharp, well exposed and the foreground adds to the image in that it shows its habitat well.

Welcome to CiC from me as well Arindam. A well composed, exposed and sharp image. My only input into a perhaps a slight improvement might be to clone out the frond that goes diagonally across the birds breast.
